Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991 is an Canadian actress, known for portraying Felicity Smoak in The CW television series Arrow. Rickards was raised in British Columbia. Her acting career began from a young age, taking classes in dance, musical theatre and other forms of entertainment. When she graduated early from high school and attending Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials program. In the open call that followed, an agent was found for her. She studied at the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver.
