Zoe Saldana, born June 19th, 1978, was the child of Asalia Nazario along with Aridio Saldana. Her father was Dominican and her mother Puerto Rican. Her parents raised her at home in Queens, New York. At the age of 10, old the family relocated towards the Dominican Republic, where they were to stay for seven years. Zoe started to discover an interest in performance dancing while she was living in Dominican Republic.
