Sheryl is an American actor, comedian and television host and is most well-known for hosting The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of a very troubled background. She was a troubled child. young life caring for her older sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl states that in the past, her mother would stab her father because he was being too close with her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from college. Her passion for the military was comedy. In 1989 she was the first woman to reach the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she began her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as a host on the TV talk show Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. She's appeared in fictitious series like Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
